Keep your progress on a new device
Your progress is saved on the device you play on. To carry it to a new phone or tablet, save it to an account first:
- Tap your avatar at the top of the screen to open your profile, then tap Save progress and Continue with email.
- Create your account with your e-mail address and a password. We e-mail you a 6-digit code to confirm the address is yours.
- On the new device, open the same screen, tap Already have an account? Sign in, and use the same e-mail address and password.
Your progress comes with you, combined with anything you played on the new device. Items you bought are part of your progress, so they come back too.
The code didn't arrive
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- A code works for 15 minutes. If yours has expired, tap Resend code for a new one.
- If the game says the e-mail couldn't be delivered, check the address for typos, then resend the code.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password?, enter your e-mail address and tap Send code. Then enter the code and a new password. For your safety, this signs your account out on your other devices.
Photos
You can use your own photo as your avatar: open your profile, tap your avatar (it has a pencil on it) and choose Your photo. Every photo is checked before other players see it, and photos of children, nudity, violence, drugs, hate symbols and personal details such as phone numbers aren't allowed. To go back to one of the game's bakers, tap your avatar again and pick one: your photo is then deleted from our server.
If a photo on the Weekend Bake-off leaderboard looks wrong, tap it to Report photo or to Hide this baker's photos. We review reported photos, and a photo reported by several players is hidden straight away.
Purchases
Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, which handle payment and refunds. To ask for a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page or Google Play's refund help.
If you were charged but your items didn't arrive, they arrive automatically when the store reconnects. Restore purchases in the Shop brings back one-time purchases, such as Remove forced ads, on a new device. If something is still missing, e-mail us with your player ID and the order number from the store's receipt.
Ads
Sweet Trail shows ads from Google AdMob and Unity Ads:
- Rewarded ads are always your choice: watch one to get a reward such as an extra life or extra moves.
- Now and then, a full-screen ad appears after you win a level. There are none during your first ten levels, at most one every three wins, and at least five minutes apart. The Remove forced ads purchase switches them off for good; rewarded ads stay optional.
Where the choice applies, Settings › Privacy › Privacy choices lets you change whether ads may be personalised.
Notifications
Notifications are off until you switch them on, when the game first asks or in Settings › Notifications. There are two switches:
- Reminders let you know when your lives are full, a daily treat is waiting, or after a few days away.
- Events & news tells you when the Weekend Bake-off starts or is nearly over, and brings news, gifts and offers from our team.
They don't arrive late at night. If notifications stopped arriving, check that they are allowed for Sweet Trail in your device's settings.
